NY Times: Making Sense of the Great Suicide Debate

N.Y. Times has done it again.  A nice article taking a step back from the current flurry of news and discovery about the relationship between anti-depressants and suicide.

  1. Thank you so much. Antidepressants have worked for me and I have not killed anyone. The media can sure make you feel like a criminal for taking them. Thanks for speaking out.

  2. Yes, good point. There have been a number of trends over the years. At first, people embraced SSRI medication unquestioningly. Then there was a backlash against them. I think the field is getting to a more balanced and realistic place. That meds can help many people, even if they don’t help as much or as many as was once believed. Thanks for your comment, Tony
